Ellen is an Occupational Therapist who has been working with the paediatric community starting from the year of 2018. In 2017, she graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia with a Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Occupational Therapy. She is currently a member of Malaysia Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA).
Having worked in a special needs school setting previously, she has experience in handling cases like ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, cerebral palsy etc. by tailoring individualized therapy programs to promote independence in their daily life. Other than 1-1 sessions, she also conducted group therapy program along with a multidisciplinary team to promote social play skills for children aged between 4-7 years old. She believes that every child is unique and play is always the best learning approach to help the child in growing and advancing their skills. Curiosity drives her to explore the reason behind each behaviour seen in the child, and her playfulness makes her the fun playmate a child can ever ask for.
