Helenna is a Clinical Psychologist who is dedicated to reducing the stigma of mental health. She firmly believes that mental health is as equally important as physical health and that mental health too requires proper assessment and care. With this perspective on mental health, she hopes to make a difference by not only raising awareness on the importance of mental health but also encourage people to seek out professional help. Helenna graduated with a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in Psychology from Sunway-Lancaster University and subsequently completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology from HELP University. As a Clinical Psychologist, she has experience working with psychiatric, neuropsychological, medical, and palliative cases, and has worked at private psychological centers, non-profit voluntary organizations, refugee clinics, and government hospitals. Helenna is experienced in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments among children with various neurodevelopmental disorders including Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit- Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disorders, etc. In regards to therapy, she practices a collaborative and supportive therapeutic approach and has worked with people from diverse backgrounds and psychological difficulties including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia.
