Nur Fahira is a passionate clinical psychologist who is committed to helping individuals struggling with mental health issues by working collaboratively with the client for a better life.
She obtained her Bachelor of Social Sciences (with honours) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and subsequently completed her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at UKM as well. Throughout her studies, she has gained knowledge and extensive training from attending practicum, training, and receiving supervision from three expert clinical psychologists. She is well-versed in using various assessment tools for diagnostic purposes,such as the intelligence test, the ADHD test, the adaptive behavior scale, personality test etc.
Nur Fahira is predominantly trained to conduct Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment therapy (ACT). She is experienced in handling cases for stress management, conducted social skill training for full remission schizophrenia patients, depression, anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She has also been exposed to forensic cases during her placement in Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta. Her experience in various settings had educated her on how to formulate cases based on patients’ conditions and help them to live more productive lives by providing a safe space and non-judgemental environment.
