Liyana is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC). She has also completed Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Level 1 training and has experience applying behavioural approaches when supporting children with ADHD and Autism.

Liyana gained clinical experience working with individuals presenting with psychiatric, neurological, substance use, and rehabilitation-related concerns during her training. She has developed skills in providing psychotherapy that emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and creating a safe space for clients to explore their experiences and challenges. She has also worked with children with neurodevelopmental conditions as a therapist and shadow aide, applying behavioural strategies to support their development and daily functioning.

Liyana is a strong advocate for integrating spirituality within psychology and incorporates the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model in her therapeutic approach. She believes in providing holistic support that acknowledges the complexity of each individual’s experiences and is committed to helping clients develop adaptive coping strategies, enhance self-understanding, and navigate life challenges. She is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and improving accessibility to psychological services for diverse communities.
