About the Role
WeCare is seeking a passionate and committed Speech-Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The therapist will work with children presenting with communication, speech, language, feeding, or social communication challenges.
We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, and dedicated to providing evidence-based and family-centered interventions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessment & Evaluation
-
Conduct comprehensive assessments in speech, language, articulation, social communication, fluency, and early communication skills.

Identify strengths, challenges, and underlying factors affecting communication.
-
Prepare assessment reports with clear recommendations and treatment goals.
2. Intervention & Treatment
-
Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans using evidence-based strategies.
-
Provide therapy for speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication challenges, fluency issues, and functional communication needs.

Implement child-friendly, engaging, and developmentally appropriate therapy activities.
3. Family & Caregiver Support
-
Educate parents/caregivers on home strategies and communication techniques.

Provide guidance to families to support consistent learning beyond the therapy room.
4. Collaboration
-
Work closely with occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, special needs educators, and other team members.

Participate in case discussions, collaborative planning, and team conferences.
5. Documentation & Professional Standards
-
Maintain up-to-date clinical notes, progress reports, and documentation.
-
Uphold all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
6. Professional Growth
-
Stay updated with the latest research and clinical practices in speech-language therapy.

Attend training, workshops, and supervision sessions offered by WeCare.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech Therapy from a recognized institution.

Registered with MAHPC and/or MASH.

Strong interest in pediatric therapy and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
-
Warm, patient, and able to work effectively with children and families.
-
Responsible, ethical, and committed to high professional standards.

Experience with early intervention, autism spectrum disorder, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), or feeding therapy.

Familiarity with play-based therapy, parent-coaching models, and early communication frameworks.

Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting.
