Clinical Psychologist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, supporting parents, and collaborating with therapists and educators.
The ideal candidate is someone who values ethical practice, continuous learning, and providing high-quality care to children, adolescents, and families.


Key Responsibilities

1. Psychological Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioural, developmental, and socio-emotional evaluations.

  • Interpret test results and provide clear, clinical reports.

  • Use standardized tools aligned with best practices and ethical guidelines.

2. Clinical Intervention

  • Deliver evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, behavioural interventions, etc.).

  • Develop treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

3. Case Management & Documentation

  • Prepare detailed case notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.

  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and ethics.

  • Communicate case updates with parents and relevant team members.

4. Multidisciplinary Collaboration

  • Participate in case discussions with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other clinicians.

  • Provide clinical input for IEPs and intervention plans.

  • Attend team meetings, supervision, and professional development sessions.

5. Parent Support & Psychoeducation

  • Offer guidance, counselling, and training to parents.

  • Conduct workshops, talks, or group sessions as needed.

  • Support families in understanding their child’s needs and navigating the intervention process.

6. Ethical & Professional Practice

  • Work within the boundaries of professional standards and confidentiality.

  • Engage in ongoing self-development, supervision, and reflective practice.


Requirements

  • An accredited Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.

  • Registered with MAHPC and/or MSCP
  • Familiarity with psychological assessments and standardized tools.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

  • Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ASD, ADHD, learning disorders).

  • Experience with child, adolescent, adult, and group therapy.

  • Additional training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, ACT, play-based interventions).

  • Ability to conduct workshops or training sessions.
