Carmen Lee is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with a strong commitment to empowering individuals as they navigate psychological challenges and personal growth. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, Malaysia, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from HELP University, Malaysia. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) and a member of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP).

Carmen began her professional career at WeCare Allied Health Center and has been a core part of the team ever since, growing her practice while contributing to the center’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality psychological care. Carmen’s clinical experience spans university counseling centers, private psychology practices, and non-governmental organizations(NGOs), providing her with broad exposure to diverse client populations and awide range of psychological issues. She is experienced in conducting psychological assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, and providing individual therapy for adults facing emotional and mental health difficulties.

Her work also includes consultation and crisis intervention for vulnerable populations, including refugees and individuals who have experienced trauma. Carmen is passionate about creating a safe, empathetic space for her clients and believes that helping individuals tell and process their personal stories is key to finding strength, healing, and meaning in adversity.

In addition to her clinical role, Carmen serves as the Manager of WeCare Allied Health Center, overseeing daily operations, team coordination, and service delivery to ensure high standards of care and organizational excellence. She is also expanding her role as a Clinical Supervisor, providing guidance and mentorship to developing psychologists while supporting ethical and reflective clinical practice. Carmen continues to contribute to mental health outreach and service development initiatives, reinforcing WeCare’s commitment to holistic, client-centered support.
