Qin Xuan holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Psychology from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). She is currently a Special Needs Educator at WeShine Child Development Centre, where she supports children with diverse developmental and learning needs through individualized intervention and educational support.

Qin Xuan began her journey in the special needs field during her internship at a private special needs centre, where she gained exposure and training in Early Intervention Programmes (EIP) and various childhood developmental conditions. Although she initially gained experience in the corporate Human Resources field, her passion for supporting children with special needs led her to pursue a meaningful career in child development.

She adopts a patient yet structured approach in working with children, providing consistency and support while encouraging confidence, participation, and independence. Qin Xuan has a particular interest in helping children develop functional skills, including independence in activities of daily living (ADL), to enhance their participation in everyday routines.

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, Qin Xuan is able to build positive connections with children and families from diverse backgrounds. She is committed to creating a supportive learning environment where each child can grow at their own pace and reach their fullest potential.
